En la Convocatoria de “Becas Ignacio Hernando de Larramendi 2010” se otorgaran ocho ayudas, 4 en el área de salud y 4 en prevención y medioambiente, con un monto total de 120.000 euros.
Las becas se convocan en homenaje y reconocimiento a Don Ignacio Hernando de Larramendi, primer Presidente de FUNDACIÓN MAPFRE y principal impulsor del Sistema MAPFRE, van dirigidas a la formación o investigación de profesionales iberoamericanos y portugueses, dentro de las áreas de Prevención, Salud y Medio Ambiente.

Fundación MAPFRE: Ayudas a la investigación 2010
FUNDACIÓN MAPFRE en la Convocatoria de “Ayudas a la investigación 2010” promueve la financiación de más de 75 proyectos, en las áreas de salud (45), prevención y medio ambiente (20) y seguros (10). Estas ayudas representan un total general superior al millón de euros.
El objetivo es fomentar la investigación entre las instituciones y profesionales de España, Portugal y de los países iberoamericanos.

Becas Posdoctoral por el Gobierno de Canada
The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship program is a new program announced by the Government of Canada to foster “top-tier postdoctoral talent, both nationally and internationally, to develop their leadership potential and to position them for success as research leaders of tomorrow”. The fellowships are expected to be highly competitive and require joint application from the individual and host institution (see attached program description). Applicants must have completed all doctoral level requirements between Nov 3, 2007 and Dec 31, 2010. The two year awards ($70,000 CAD per anum) are to be taken up between April and October 2011.
